Raider Symphonic Band
The Symphonic Raider Band consist of the top musicians within the James S. Rickards band program. Membership within this ensemble is determined by audition and director placement. Students will work to refine music performance fundamentals all while engaging in the performance of challenging but quality musical literature.
The Symphonic Raider Band resumes normal rehearsals after the conclusion of the Marching Music Performance Assessment and Florida A&M University Homecoming festivities. Rehearsals occur on Tuesday and Thursday, 3 PM to 5 PM.
The Symphonic Raider Band performs in seasonal concerts, and Concert Music Performance Assessment (MPA).
